Join GEAR UP Georgia's guest presenter, Dr. Monica Frazier from Columbus State University. Dr. Frzaier will teach the technique used to detect binding between an antigen and antibody for the diagnosis of diseases like COVID using an at-home ELISA lab. ELISA stands for Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay. It is also referred to as Enzyme Immunoassay or EIA for short.

Join us in a workshop to learn the various ways sustainability is making its way into various career paths, including sustainable fashion through thrifting & upcycling, as well as fields like Public Relations, Public Policy, Environmental Specialists, Risk Management, and Corporate Sustainability. These and other job opportunities provide workers with the chance to positively impact the environment, people’s quality of life, and future generations. You will have the chance to participate in a hands-on activity with Kennesaw State University’s Owl Swap Sustainable Initiative to tie-dye a face mask and learn how to make a t-shirt into a tote bag!
